When I’m not housesitting I head to The Night Cafe in my neighborhood to wind down from the day and maybe watch a little Netflix. This is one of those neighborhood cafes that people hang out in because it’s convenient and stays open later than all the other cafes nearby, not because of the degree of ambiance, cleanliness, or good food.
Here are my shoes with the scratched wooden floor. I find myself staring at this floor a lot. It reminds me of some of Kandinsky’s work, or somehow I am able to see Kandinsky’s work in all the abstract scratch marks.
