Henry’s Smith

One of Henry’s old typewriters was sitting out on a table in the rain. It had been there for awhile, I suppose, as it looked weathered and worn and rather beaten. The keys had been played, depressed with stuck letters.

I wonder what Henry would have thought of that.

My trips to Big Sur always include a stop at the Henry Miller Library, if it is open. A few weeks ago (October 27, 2016) I made a trip down the coast and stopped in.
