Clouds In Flight

October 25, 2013 By Kimberly Kradel

Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.

Avid travelers see them all the time, the clouds from above, rather than how we earth bound folk see them, clouds from below. Last week I had the opportunity, albeit for a sad reason, to fly to the East Coast and back again. On the way back the plane flew into the sunset, so the pink and blue hovered there for a few hours.

On previous flights I always tried to spy the landscape through the clouds. Could I see form? Could I see weather? Could I see the seasons?

This time I saw the clouds as their own particular kind of landscape, creating their own hills and valleys and sea scapes.

Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
Clouds in flight.
