Capitol Hill Books: 300 E. Colfax Ave.: Spanning three large rooms, their shelves cover nearly every topic imaginable. From mysteries to sci-fi, world history to psychology.

For Heaven’s Sake: 4900 W. 46th Ave.: Denver’s new age metaphysical gift and bookstore provides a self-help healing center for mind, body, and spirit.

Mutiny Information Café: 2 S. Broadway: A used and new bookstore, with coffee bar. comic books, records, and pinball.

Second Star to the Right: 1545 S. Pearl St.: They offer a wide variety of the newest releases, and even your own childhood favorites in board books all the way to young adult novels. Adult books, parenting and a selection of books in Spanish are among our other book offerings.

Tattered Cover: 1628 16th St: A large indie bookstore and cafe with the cozy feel and comfort of smaller bookshops, furnished with comfortable sofas and overstuffed chairs and and a world-class newsstand. They sell new and used books and offer author events
