Publisher of ARTIST-AT-LARGE
We’re creators by permission, by grace as it were. No one creates alone, of and by himself. An artist is an instrument that registers something already existent, something which belongs to the whole world, and which, if he is an artist, he is compelled to give back to the world. -- Henry Miller
Why do you need to support ARTIST-AT-LARGE ?
While ARTIST-AT-LARGE seems to be mainly a labor of love, it wasn't meant to be that - and it can't be that. Just as magazine publishers want to earn a living doing what they do, ARTIST-AT-LARGE needs to be rewarded for the time and effort put into this project. People and services need to be paid!
Because you enjoy or value the community, the writing, and the images on this site, please consider exchanging some of your energy for the energy going into this project and supporting more new work (and possibly paying new writers!) and all of the work that goes on in the background.
Sites like this, all over the web, can't exist without financial support from people like you. It's why we ask for subscriptions and donations, and run ads.
